Accommodation in Swansea Tasmania

Welcome to Freycinet Waters, our bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of the village of Swansea on the east coast of Tasmania.

Built in 1938 as the Post Office and Post Master’s residence, it was converted into a B&B in the mid-90’s and extended in 2001.

With all modern facilities (including free WiFi) our B&B accommodation is still in the traditional seaside style: great water views, relaxing surrounds and full ‘English’ breakfast, with black pudding and haggis for the adventurous.

Our central location makes us the ideal base from which to explore the diverse Tasmanian East Coast region, including Freycinet National Park, Maria Island, and Coles Bay - gateway to the famous Wineglass Bay beach.

We are close to several beautiful beaches, nearby vineyards, walking tracks, a nine-hole golf course, historic buildings and excellent dining options.

Stay in Swansea and spend a few days indulging your senses in our beautiful part of the world.  We are here to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. And if you need advice about what to see and do, we can help you pack in as little or as much into your stay as you wish.

All our rooms are in the affordable range so you can make Swansea a base from which to spend two or three days exploring the East Coast.

Please read our cancellation and age restriction policies etc. on the “About Your Stay” page.
