Our Bed and Breakfast

Situated across the bay from the Freycinet Peninsula, our B&B is located in the heart of historic Swansea, the oldest rural municipality in Australia.

Originally Swansea's Post Office and Post Master's residence, Freycinet Waters has been renovated with a decor in keeping with the beautiful views of Oyster Bay experienced from the property.

We have off street parking for four vehicles and our central location makes it an easy walk to all amenities: shops, restaurants, tavern, RSL Club, golf course, jetty and beaches, tennis courts, museums and the magnificent walking track around Waterloo Point.

Situated midway - approximately 135 kms (85 miles) - from both Hobart and Launceston, Swansea is a practical base for a few days stay (or longer). Our village is ideal for those who want to relax, ease off and enjoy a slow paced break. The nearest traffic lights are an hour away.
